Lighting Services have successfully installed high output LED luminaires into a manufacturing plant featuring intelligent energy controls.
The LED luminaires have an integral sensor that detects presence and increases the light level to the required, predetermined level. The lights operate at this output until the area becomes unoccupied. At this point the light level reduces down to 10%. With the added benefit of daylight harvesting the luminaire will automatically dim during daylight hours to coincide with ambient light level. These settings are set according to the requirements of the end user and are flexible to fit with operating requirements and energy targets.
