Casambi-Controlled Track and Accent Lighting Across Multi-Zone Gym Interior
Body Focus Fitness is a high-performance gym in Whitehall, Bristol, offering an energised training environment over two levels. Owner John Harris wanted lighting that would elevate the space, energise users and feel fully integrated with the strong visual identity already established throughout the gym.
Connected Light was brought in to design and supply a complete lighting solution, working closely with the gym’s design team to ensure seamless integration. With bold wall graphics, black ceiling finishes and robust industrial details, the new lighting needed to perform without being intrusive.
Discreet black LED track lighting was specified to deliver projected illumination across key workout zones, from cardio to strength areas. RGB LED accent lighting was used throughout the scheme, embedded in ceiling coves, behind mirrors and counter tops and in key visual reveals, to deliver an immersive, colour-rich experience. These accents support the gym’s brand palette and can be adjusted to suit different energy levels or time-of-day settings.
Casambi wireless control was implemented across the building, giving Body Focus full flexibility in how light is used and experienced. Lighting can be managed via mobile app or programmed with automatic scenes and timers. It enables fast adjustments for events and changes in layout, without the need for rewiring or physical switches.
