What We Offer

  • Survey and Report: Following a consultation to understand your requirements, we can provide a survey and report of your building, working in conjunction with any technical drawings, current exit strategies and risk assessments provided, ensuring they have sufficient detail.
  • Design: Lighting calculations will be produced for each space using our emergency lighting design software to create a design that adheres to the latest regulations and standards to BS5266-1. Technical drawings, datapacks, and specifications are provided following the final design approval.
  • Product Supply: As an independent provider, we can source the correct emergency lighting products from a variety of manufacturers. Our supply chain partnerships allow us to provide competitive pricing for the required compliant products.
  • Installation: Choose between installation by our trusted contractors or using your own provider, we will help the installer deliver the project with guidance from us to ensure compliance. Toolbox talks are included as part of our delivery service.

System Choices

There are several types of emergency lighting systems. We assess and discuss with the client, the most appropriate type to use which is best suited to the project or building:

  • Integrated emergency luminaires are built into the main lighting system of a building, providing seamless emergency lighting alongside regular lighting. They often use the same fixtures, which can save on installation and maintenance costs.
  • Standalone emergency luminaires operate independently of the main lighting system. They are self-contained units that activate during a power failure, making them versatile for various environments but typically requiring separate installation and maintenance.
  • A central battery system is an emergency lighting solution where a single battery or group of batteries supplies power to multiple emergency luminaires throughout a building. This system allows for centralised management of emergency lighting, ensuring that all connected lights receive power during an outage. Central battery systems are often more efficient than individual battery-operated units, as they reduce maintenance costs and improve reliability.

All the above variants can be offered with options for regular testing:

  1. Manual Testing – Using a local key switch
  2. Automatic Testing (Self Test) – No key switch required
  3. Monitored Testing, which is a system that can either be wired or wireless with feedback to a central panel for reporting.

Options 2 and 3 are to assist in reducing maintenance time and installation costs depending on the existing infrastructure of the building.
